Inis Mór is the largest of the three Aran Islands, stretching 15km long and 5km wide.
Our first stop is to the village of Kilmurvey (a 20 minute drive). Here you will visit
the famous fort of Dun Aengus, a 2,500 year old fort standing on 300ft of spectacular
sheer cliff.You will also be able to have lunch here in one of the locally run
restaurants and take in some shopping
Next, we take a trip to the seven churchs, dating back to the 7th-8th century. Following
that we go to the Man of Aran Cottage, the origianal setting for Robert Flaherty’s 1930
film “The Man of Aran”.On our way back into Kilronan we drive to the seal colony where on a
fine day you will see our abundence of natural wildlife.
